TCS Q4 net profit up 72.7% to Rs 6,413 crore; revenue rises 17.5% to Rs 28,449 crore

India's leading technology firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Monday reported a net profit of 72.7 percent to Rs 6,413 crore.

New Delhi: India's leading software service firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Monday reported a net profit of 72.7 percent to Rs 6,413 crore.

The company also reported a revenue rise of 17.5% to Rs 28,449 crore for the same quarter.

As per report, the company's profit for the entire 2015-16 fiscal rose 22.4 percent to Rs 24,292 crore while the revenue for the same period rose 14.8 percent to Rs 1,08,646 crore.

However, stocks of the company felt by over 3 percent during the day following reports of the USD 940 million on it and another Tata Group company Tata America International Corp in a trade secret lawsuit.
