Wasington: Amy Winehouse’s father has said that he would never release the rights of his daughter’s music for use in a potential biopic.
The tragic singer’s filmmaker boyfriend Reg Traviss had earlier revealed that he turned down the offer of directing a movie about Winehouse.
“It would hardly be a biopic without the music and we’d never allow the songs to be released,” Contact music quoted Winehouse’s father as telling Britain’s Mail.
The ‘Stronger Than Me’ hitmaker died in July this year after drinking too much alcohol.
