New Delhi: Social media's use retained its craze among Indians last year with Facebook becoming the most searched brand of 2015.


As per 'The Goonj India Index 2015: 7 Deadly Indian Sins' report made exclusively available to Zee News, Facebook ranked top among all the brands, most searched for and mentioned online in the year 2015.


This was followed by Google, Whatsapp, Dainik Bhaskar and Times of India.


At the Goonj India Index 2015, Facebook became number one searched brand of 2015 with 24,505.93 GPM while Miromax came last in the list with 162.65 GPM.


Others in the list are: Google (13,438.74 GPM), Whatsapp (1,209.49 GPM), Dainik Bhaskar (808.30 GPM), Times of India (662.06 GPM), Dainik Jagran (541.50 GPM), Axis Bank (442.69 GPM), Amar Ujala (361.66 GPM), HDFC (361.66 GPM), Twitter (361.66 GPM), Airtel (296.44 GPM), ICICI (296.44 GPM), Indigo (296.44 GPM), SBI (296.44 GPM), Vodafone (296.44 GPM), BSNL (162.65 GPM), IPL (162.65 GPM), LIC (162.65 GPM), Mathrubhumi (162.65 GPM) and Micromax (162.65 GPM).
