Mumbai: Actor Ronit Roy, who has been preparing to shoot his next film ‘Shootout At Wadala’, is a bundle of nerves and hopes to live up to the director`s expectations.
The actor, whose role as a strict father in ‘Udaan’ was appreciated, will be seen as cop Raja Tambat in director Sanjay Gupta`s ‘Shootout At Wadala’, based on the 1982 shootout in which criminal Manya Surve was killed.
"New day, new week, new film starts - `Shootout at Wadala`. Going into it with lots of positivity. You guys have a super week," Ronit posted on Twitter.
"Nervous about this one. Need all your good wishes. Hope I`m able to play Raja Tambat to your`s and directors satisfaction," he added.
The crime thriller also stars Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Mahesh Manjrekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Tusshar Kapoor, and Kangna Ranaut.
