Playboy Playmate arrested for smuggling `boyfriend` to US

New York: Playboy Playmate Colleen Shannon was arrested on August 16, for trying to smuggle a man across the Canadian border into the United States.

Police brought the 34-year-old former model to upstate New York’s Clinton County Jail and booked her for “bringing in and harboring aliens,” the New York Daily News reported. She was arrested by Customs and Border Protection and later released on bond. She is currently out of custody. According to TMZ.com, for violating this federal statute she could face ten years in prison if convicted. Sources have said that the man is Shannon’s boyfriend, but this has not been verified yet. After posing for Playboy Magazine’s 50th Anniversary in 2004, the 5ft 2in model went on to play tunes in clubs becoming the “World’s sexiest DJ,” her website site said. ANI
