Mumbai: The bevy of item girls in Bollywood is getting bigger and better by the hour. As actresses are thriving to land an assignment as the next Shiela or Chameli, the Chammak Challo belle has been watching from behind the scenes. And her wait wasn’t not worth it. For we hear that the sizzling Kareena Kapoor has bagged herself an item number in ‘Dabangg 2’. The sequel to the Salman-Sonakshi starrer is making headlines already. Expected to go on floors next month, rumour has it that the original Munni is making space for Kareena in the sequel. As if to bid goodbye to her badnaami days, our original Munni, Malaika Arora Khan, is contented with donning the director’s cap for the while. Earlier, it was heard that Malaika and her sister Amrita Arora would gyrate to the beats of an item number along with actor Salman Khan in ‘Dabangg 2’, but seems like the duo has had to slide away and make space for Kareena. Salman, however, would remain constant. The actor’s pairing with Kareena in ‘Bodyguard’ was lapped up by eager viewers, and in order to continue that very chemistry, the brains behind the sequel of ‘Dabangg’ have decided to rope in Kareena. The league of item girls in Bollywood grows richer every day. And with Kareena re-entering the fray, it gets hotter as well. Welcome to the club, Bebo!
