New Delhi: Following the arrest Chota Rajan, one of India's most wanted criminals, speculation is rife on who would takeover Rajan's businessess.

Names in the forefront are Santosh alias Abu Sawant, Vicky Malhotra and DK Rao. However, reports claimed that Malhotra, a close associate of Chhota Rajan, is most likely to be annointed the new leader of the multi-crore extortion, real-estate and drug trafficking business run by Rajan.
Rajan, who was on the run for nearly two decades, was arrested in Bali by Indonesian police acting on a Red Corner Notice issued by Interpol.

The arrest was made on a tip off from Australian police that 55-year-old Rajendra Sadashiv Nikalje alias Mohan Kumar alias Chota Rajan, the powerful aide-turned-rival of terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, flew from Sydney to Indonesia's popular tourist destination Bali, where he was arrested on Sunday.
A report in Times of India said that Rajan apparently got in touch with Malhotra and persuaded him to take over.

However, the report also talks about the possiblity of Malhotra joining hands with D-Company “with an eye to being installed as in-charge of India operations”.
