New Delhi: The Cabinet approved the recommendations of the seventh Pay Commission on June 29 and in the process rationalized the pay structure of central government employees in various pay bands.

The new pay matrix clearly outlines the new pay level of the central government employees, where they fit in and how they are likely to progress over their career span.
