Mumbai: Filmmaker Yash Chopra, who is down with dengue and is being treated at the Lilavati Hospital here for the past five days, is improving and is expected to be discharged soon.
"He is still in hospital. He is much better now and has improved quite well. He shall be discharged soon," a source from the hospital told reporters.
Chopra, 80, was admitted Saturday. He was kept under observation.
As per reports, apart from his close family members, actress Rani Mukerji came to visit him at the hospital.
Known for making some of the best love stories like "Daag", "Kabhie Kabhie", "Silsila", "Chandni" and "Lamhe" and action dramas like "Deewar" and "Trishul", the veteran has been busy shooting for his last directorial project - "Jab Tak Hai Jaan".
Slated for a Diwali release Nov 13, it will see Shah Rukh Khan romancing Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
