Coal scam: Ranjit Sinha tried to influence the probe, his visitor diary genuine, says SC panel

New Delhi: The Supreme Court appointed probe panel led by ex-CBI special director has found Ranjit Sinha's visitor diary genuine.

The SC-appointed panel further informed the apex court that “prima facie it seems that ex-CBI Director Ranjit Sinha did try to influence probe in coal scam”.

The Supreme Court today reserved order to decide on what action to be taken against Sinha in view of the panel's finding.
