Mumbai: Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli will enter Indian market this year. Launched in early, 1970s, Roberto Cavalli group is one of the most renowned brands in Italy and worldwide.
"This is the right time to enter Indian market. It is growing in every direction, economically also it is growing. We are here to present our line of fashion and Cafe in India,"
Gianluca Brozetti, CEO of Roberto Cavalli, told PTI in an interview.
"We are the first fashion brand to enter Indian market, like others have come up with accessories and other stuff, we would have our Roberto Cavalli fashion line for women, men and children. We would offer clothing line, accessories, eyewear and etc. Also, we would have our Cafe here," he said.
Roberto Cavalli will have two stores in India- Delhi and Mumbai by this year.
"We would open two stores one in Delhi and another in Mumbai. In Delhi, it would be a flagship store by June-July while the Mumbai store would come up within six-eight months. There would be Roberto Cavalli fashion store and a Cafe both in Delhi and Mumbai," Brozetti said.
Talking about the pricing of the Italian brand in India, Brozetti said, "We would keep it affordable here. But due to high import duty it might be bit expensive."
