Los Angeles: Singer Carrie Underwood says her relationship with her husband Mike Fisher, who is an ice hockey player, is not the usual type because they have to cope with the difficulties her career causes.
"He will probably try for the rest of his life to really understand it. It`s still a life to be honest, it`s just the life that I lead. I know it`s not normal, so we both have our moments when we have to try and figure things out," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Underwood as saying.
The 29-year-old considers herself a strong female because of her upbringing but would not say she is a feminist.
"I would not go so far as to say I am a feminist, that can come off as a negative connotation. But I am a strong female. My parents raised me to be pretty independent. I feel like that contributes to how I handle myself and how I carry myself," she said.
