Katy Perry selling off New York pad

Los Angeles: Pop star Katy Perry is selling the New York City love nest she purchased with her now-estranged husband Russell Brand.

Perry, 27, and the funnyman bought the two-bedroom luxury penthouse in Manhattan for a reported USD 2.75 million in September, 2010, just one month before the happy couple wed in India, reported Ace Showbiz. But after Brand filed for divorce from the Perry last December, the `Teenage Dream` hitmaker has put the apartment up for sale in a bid to move on from the failed relationship. The 1,500-square-foot duplex boasts a city skyline view, a cherrywood staircase and heated floors. PTI
