Siddharth excited to work with AR Rahman once again

New Delhi: ‘Rang De Basanti’ star Siddharth took to twitter this morning to officially confirm that his next project will be directed by acclaimed South Indian director Vasanthabalan and the music for the Tamil flick will be by Oscar-winning AR Rahman. The Chennai-born lad tweeted from his verified @Actor_Siddharth account: “It’s official. My next film is directed by the acclaimed Vasanthabalan. Music by the one & only A.R.Rahman. Produced by Y Not studios(sic).” The 33-year-old has also worked for Y Not Studios’ last venture, a bilingual project called ‘Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi’ in Tamil and ‘Love Failure’ in Telugu. In a follow-up tweet he mentioned how excited he was to work with the musical genius that is Rahman once again: “We start shoot later in the year. Working with A.R after so long. Boys, Ayutha Ezhuthu, Rang de…and finally our new film. What a feeling!!!(sic)” He already has Jabardhasth, NH 4, Midnight Children and Chashme Baddoor releasing this year as three new projects also kick off later on. 2013 may well be a big year for the super-talented star.
