India all set to be $10 trillion economy by 2032: Amitabh Kant

New Delhi: Expressing confidence in the Indian economy, Niti Aayog Chief Executive Officer Amitabh Kant said that the country has potential to become a $10 trillion economy by 2032. He also said that Indian economy will also grow at rate of 10 percent by 2031.

The country's growth rate is 7.6 percent in 2015-16 and its economy is $1.7 trillion.

In a presentation made during Civil Services Day function attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and large number of civil servants, he projected creation of 175 millions jobs and zero per cent of Below Poverty Line (BPL) population by 2032.
