Mumbai: Even though singer Mika is known for his chart busting numbers, he is best remembered for his infamous lip lock and spat with item girl and drama queen Rakhi Sawant.
Rakhi had alleged that the singer had forcibly smooched her and had even gone ahead by reporting to the police. An ugly spat followed between the two and six years down the line the duo seemed to have somewhat moved on from the whole episode.
Six years later, Mika seems to have got himself involved in another similar case. This time it involved upcoming stars Sunny Gill and Simran Kaur Mundi.
According to a tabloid, the incident took place in Bandra on Sunday night. Mika and his friends entered a party late on Sunday night and got into a scuffle with Simran’s boyfriend, Sunny Gill. The two were separated by cricketer Sreesanth, who was also present at the party.
When the tabloid contacted Simran, she said, "What happened on Sunday night was uncalled for. I don`t even know Mika. I was introduced to him by a friend at the party. Immediately after that, he started making advances. He must have got angry since I warded off his attempts to get closer."
"When we were leaving, Mika followed us and started passing derogatory comments. That`s when Sunny intervened. Unable to handle it, Mika and his friends attacked us," added the former Miss India.
"Mika was obnoxious and has no respect for women. So, I just asked him to lay off," added Sunny.
Meanwhile, Mika’s friends came to the singer’s defense and said, “Mika and Simran are from Punjab. They were simply talking. Simran`s boyfriend did not take this too well. When Mika followed them, the two men ended up having an argument."
A nonchalant Mika brushed off the incident and said, "Firstly, I don’t even know them. And let bygones be bygones. These things keep happening at parties."
True, these things keep happening at parties, especially at those parties where Mika is a guest.
