Paris: Swedish retailer H&M unveiled its fall-winter collection at Paris Fashion Week, marking the first time that the company held an elaborate event to showcase its designs.
H&M held its show in the gardens of the Rodin Museum, with the path to the runway area lit by candles.
The show started with a velvet cape, featuring two openings in the front, combined with boots as the icebreaker.
H&M reinterpreted the black mini-skirt, adding tassels and a good measure of English embroidery.
The retailer`s jackets were highlighted by their buttons and had futuristic diagonal lines.
The collection will go on sale Sep 5 at H&M`s 200 stores around the world, company representatives told EFE.
