SRK would love to cast Lady Gaga as lead in a Bollywood film

Mumbai: Lady Gaga was in town recently and apparently the international singer had a hell of a time in India. Bonding with the who’s who of Bollywood, the 25-year-old Poker Face hitmaker left a lasting impression with her act on stage as well as off. And if Bollywood sources are anything to go by, there is fair chance to see the international pop icon cast as the lead actress in a Bollywood film! While she was still in India, Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan indulged in a conversation with Lady Gaga, and SRK during an hour long tête-à-tête with her on TV said that he would love to cast her in one of his productions. As the two stars got chatting on the show, Gaga confessed that she would love to be part of a Bollywood movie and SRK said he`d love to cast her as his lead actress. But she said, "I don`t have any illusions of being a lead actress! Instead, I would like to be cast in a smaller role." And SRK being SRK, insisted that she be his leading lady! On the show when SRK met Gaga, he decided to teach her an Indian word that stood for what she was all about. "I`d like to start with this word, which is more of a Mumbaiyya word called bindass. Do you know what it means in Hindi?" he asked, to which she promptly replied, "Yeah, of course! It means carefree." And a surprised SRK replied, "Yes...just like you, Lady Gaga!" On being asked what she would have been if not an ace performer that she is today, and Gaga said, "I would always keep singing, as that is my true calling." The pop sensation then asked SRK what he would do if not acting and he quipped, "I would act in my bathroom!" Well, for a quick wit like SRK that really didn’t sound like a superstar answer. SRK, better start working on it lest Lady Gaga opt for some other Khans in B-town!
