Nicolas Cage convinced West to change shoot location

Los Angeles: Actor Nicolas Cage convinced director Simon West to change shooting location of their forthcoming film ‘Stolen’ from New York to the former`s real residence town of New Orleans.

West wanted to shoot the movie in New York, but according to Cage, New Orleans provided perfect backdrop for the movie that talk about a thief`s struggle to rescue his kidnapped daughter. "I have stayed in places like California and Rhode Island but somehow, New Orleans will always be special for me. I would love to shoot for more movies here," Cage said in a statement. Cage and West have worked together previously in ‘Con Air’. ‘Stolen’ will release in India Nov 6. IANS
