Daniel Radcliffe was a ‘pathetic and boring drunk’

Washington: Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he gave up alcohol last year after realizing that he was pathetic and boring unlike his heroes Gary Oldman and Richard Harris when under the influence of booze.

According to Parade magazine Harry Potter star realized that the way he behaved after getting high had no romance to it. “I’ve worked with Richard Harris, Gary Oldman, all those actors who went crazy when they were young, and I always wanted that. The idea of that kind of life and chaos was always so appealing to me,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling. “Unfortunately, the way I do it, there is no romance to it. There is nothing glorious or triumphant about it. It was pathetic, boring, and unhappy,” he added. ANI
