I am a big fan of Sunny Leone, says Ram Gopal Varma

Mumbai: Ram Gopal Varma would be cursing his stars for sure for not making him the first one from Bollywood to approach American adult film actress Sunny Leone for a mainstream movie. Veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt pioneered the trend of having a porn star on board his film and now everyone wants to follow suit. Ramu happens to be one of them and has confessed his desire of wanting to have Ms Leone as an item girl in his latest flick ‘Department’. Talking to a leading tabloid, Ramu said, “I actually wanted Sunny Leone for the item song in Department. I`m a big fan of hers. But she has a contract with Mahesh, Mukesh and Pooja Bhatt. So I was denied access to her.” The producer director does not believe in binding artists in contracts and giving the freedom to take new projects. He said, “I don`t believe in contracts, exclusive or otherwise. I leave that to other production houses who are scared of losing their discoveries.” So what if Varma did not get Sunny Leone for his item song, he has Nathalia Kaur by his side. Kaur happens to be model from Brazil. But Ramu would have no qualms in letting Kaur sign projects outside his banner. “Whether it is Sunny Leone or Nathalia Kaur, you can`t keep them fastened to the pillar in your backyard hoping no one would steal them,” said RGV. Looks like Ramu is giving his piece of mind to the Bhatts his own way! Are we right RGV?
