Carrying on with his continuous attempt to reaching out to the investors of the world Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited a host of countries this year.
His visit to Germany in April saw about 400 Indian companies participating which also had the presence of about 100-120 Indian CEOs besides about 3000 German delegates.

Modi's China visit in the month of May saw top industrialists and CEOs, including Adani group chairman Gautam Adani and Vishal Sikka of Infosys, will be part of a high-level business delegation traveling with him.

Modi in July attended the BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summits in Ufa. Pitching for closer cooperation and coordination among BRICS nations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today proposed a 10-point initiative that includes India hosting the first trade fair for the grouping and establishing research centres for railways and agriculture.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is interacted with technology and business leaders during his visit in US in September. The main focus was on innovation, digital economy and renewable energy.
Both in New York and in San Jose – hub of the Silicon Valley – Modi is met people, experts and corporate leaders to further his twin agendas of inclusive growth and fast-tracking economic development.

With India being the largest recipient of remittances in the world, Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the G20 Summit in November pressed for cutting transaction cost for transferring money from abroad.

Modi attended the ASEAN summit in November and held talks with top leadership of Malaysia, including his counterpart Najib Razak, on ways to ramp up bilateral cooperation in a range of areas including defence and security and take the strategic ties to a new level.
ASEAN is India’s fourth largest trading partner and India is the sixth largest trading partner for the ten member grouping.
