Rani's hero is a southern superstar!

Mumbai: There has been quite a buzz around the first trailer of ‘Aiyyaa’ ever since it came out on Thursday. While the first look concentrated on the film’s leading heroine Rani Mukerji, one also got a glimpse of the film’s hero, south actor Prithviraj. The dishy actor is making his Bollywood debut opposite Rani in this Anurag Kashyap film. He is relatively a new face in North but in south, the actor has a massive fan following and is considered as a superstar. Popularly known as Prithviraj, the actor has some big films to his credit such as ‘Indian Rupee’, ‘Anwar’ and Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavanan’. Born to an illustrious family of actors - both his parents are well known actors down south- the heartthrob of millions tied the knot to Supriya Menon, a journalist in 2009. 29 year old Prithviraj is all set to play a south Indian alcoholic man called Surya in Sachin Kundalkar’s ‘Aiyyaa’ and will also be seen in Yash Raj films ‘Aurangzeb’ which also stars Arjun Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor in pivotal roles.
