Los Angeles: Actress Keira Knightley has featured in big ticket films like `Pride and Prejudice` and the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series, but now she wants to turn her back on blockbuster movies to step away from the spotlight.
The 27-year-old plans to reconsider taking roles in films which will thrust her into the limelight as she hates constant public scrutiny of her life, reports dailystar.co.uk,
"It comes to a point where you think `What kind of film can I make that will allow me to live a proper life?` and those big budget movies make it difficult," said Knightley.
"I do actually love blockbusters, but that decision has a lot that comes with it that I am not prepared to go with. I don`t think if a model is in an advertising campaign, then she should not be able to walk down the street feeling safe," she said.
