Mumbai: There is a new twist in the Rajesh Khanna-Anita Advani saga. The family of the late actor has denied the former actresses claim that she was Khanna’s lover and live in partner.
A day before the actor breathed his last, Advani had sent a legal notice to the family claiming that she had a share in Khanna’s property and had also accused the family of domestic violence. Three weeks after the notice was sent, advocate Bheru Choudhary, lawyer for daughter Twinkle, said Advani has no legal right to claim on the actor`s property.
The family sent a legal notice to Advani which stated that since the family did not consider her a part of the actor’s life, she had no right on his property.
When a daily tried to contact the lawyers of the respective parties, they both refused to comment.
Anita Advani’s background remains a bit sketchy. The starlet who appeared in a few films in the late 1980s had claimed that she was related to the family of a former Philippines president. She had also tried her luck in Bollywood as a producer.
Anita has claimed that she was at Khanna’s side when he needed someone the most. Advani also had stated that she felt humiliated by the way the actor’s family had treated her during his funeral procession.
