New York: John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, who starred in the blockbuster movie ‘Grease’, have come together again after 34 years for a holiday album called ‘This Christmas.’
The pair are seen smiling with teacups while posing by a mountain of presents with a Christmas tree, on their new release’s photo.
The 58-year-old actor is dressed in the traditional Christmas garment, a black muscle T-shirt, while Newton-John is holding her teacup with femme fatale red nail polish, the New York Post reported.
“My desire was to make… an intimate album, not something too ostentatious or showy,” Aussie blog MusicFix quoted Newton-John as saying, in a statement.
“I wanted people to be able to play it around the house, or in the car, during the holidays, and make us part of your celebration.
“It just fell into place. With our busy schedules, I don’t know how we got it done,” she said.
The album’s due out November 13 and proceeds will go to the Jett Travolta Foundation and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne.
