New Delhi, Aug 25: BJP today asked Musliim organisations to "rethink on their rigid stand" on the Ayodhya issue in the wake of ASI's report that a temple existed beneath the demolished structure at Ayodhya and hold dialogue with Hindu groups. "The ASI report authenticates that a temple existed beneath the mosque. In the light of these findings, Muslim organisations should do some positive thinking and rethink on their rigid stand on the ram temple issue," party general secretary and spokesman Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told news agencies over phone from Mumbai.
He said that it was both in the larger interests of the nation and the minority community that the Muslims "respect all the supportive evidence" and hold talks with Hindu organisations on the temple issue.
