Cannes: `The Angels` Share` directed by Britain`s Ken Loach was awarded the jury prize at the closing ceremony of the 65th Cannes film festival, Xinhua reported.
It is a comedy about teenage ex-offenders turning to whisky-tasting. The director is a previous Palme d`Or winner in 2006 with Irish war drama "The Wind That Shakes the Barley".
The top prize Palme d`Or went to Michael Haneke`s "Amour" (Love) while the second place Grand prize was given to Matteo Garrone`s "Reality" as the 12-day movie showcase ended Sunday night.
