Mumbai: Actor-director Makarand Deshpande says it is more important to put his heart into whatever he does, instead of doing it with an intent to make crores of rupees.
Deshpande is currently gearing up for his film ‘Sona Spa’.
"I am very happy the kind of films I am doing these days. My ambition is not to make Rs.100 crore films. I want to put life into all my films," he told reporters.
His film ‘Sona Spa’, produced by Miraj Entertainment, deals with the story of buying sleep. Releasing March 22, it features Naseeruddin Shah in the lead.
He is confident the movie will do well.
"I feel my film `Sona Spa` will spread by word of mouth. I know whoever has seen the play is looking forward to see the film. The concept of the film is strong and I know many of them have already made up their mind to watch the film.
"I have a strong feeling that this film will grow by word of mouth," he added.
