London: American singer Jennifer Hudson wants to collaborate with soul singer Mary J Blige on a track together.
`Spotlight` singer Hudson and Blige appeared to record the VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul TV special. Hudson said that she would love to do a track with her peer because she looks to her huge legacy as a soul singer, reported Daily Mail.
"She is epitome of soul music today. She feels like a homegirl and I also look at her as an influence," Hudson said.
The singer also helped to fulfil another artist`s dreams at the event, as she performed a duet with British singer Jessie J at the event.
"Did I really just sing with [Jennifer Hudson] WOW #dreamscometrue (sic)," Jessie tweeted.
Other singers to appear on the `VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul` show, included Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson, Florence + the Machine, Jessie J and Jill Scott.
