Man dies, Sayali Bhagat injured at Mall’s inaugural event

Greater Noida: A new mall’s inaugural ceremony featuring adventure sports, titled ‘The Great Adventure Carnival’, turned into a tragedy when a man lost his life and actress Sayali Bhagat got injured while performing stunts. The man in question, identified as Shailendra Kumar, was rappelling down a multi-storyed building when the rope supporting him snapped near the seventh floor of the Great Adventure Mall. There were no security measures in place to avert any untoward incident and the man’s stunt proved fatal. He was declared brought dead by doctors at a local hospital. Horrified onlookers saw Kumar hurtling to death from that height when he was trying to perform the stunt. Bollywood actress Sayali Bhagat too injured herself while riding a dirt bike.
