Mumbai: Eesha Koppikar is set to make her Marathi debut soon with a woman-centric film.
"We all know that Marathi cinema is getting international acclaim... Marathi scripts are so good. I got such an opportunity, a good woman-centric film, good producers with a corporate background, so I said why not," the 36-year-old said here Friday at a self-defense seminar organised on the occasion of International Women`s Day.
Eesha, who has done southern film projects too, says she has been getting offers for Marathi films ever since she entered showbiz.
"I have done films in so many languages, but not Marathi. I have been getting Marathi film offers since I entered the industry 10 years back. But I never got any opportunity, didn`t get any good script. For my debut in it, I wanted a strong script," she said.
Meanwhile, Eesha, who had earlier judged ‘Nach Baliye 3’, is currently judging a talent hunt show, ‘Colours of Youth’, for students of B-schools and professional colleges across India.
Talking about the show, Eesha said: "`Nach Baliye` was dance centric and ‘Colours of Youth’ is about all kinds of talent. You can do anything, paint, sing, write poetry, you can be a keyboard player, you can be a guitarist, dance, do comedy or anything."
