London: Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger has thrown her support behind a campaign celebrating the best of British music.
The 33-year-old has joined British singers Jessie J, Florence Welch and ex-Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm to support the Music Is Great initiative, a step that was launched to acknowledge the contributions British artists have made to music.
Scherzinger admits she`s championing the cause because audiences in Britain were so receptive at the start of her career.
"The U.K. audience were the first to really embrace me and the Pussycat Dolls. The greatest thing about Great Britain is the crowds - they are so honest and open," a website has quoted Scherzinger as saying.
