New Delhi: ‘Bombay Talkies’ – which is releasing on May 3, 2013 to mark the 100 years of Hindi cinema - would have been incomplete without the ‘Shehanshah’ of Bollywood – Amitabh Bachchan.
The makers of the movie – Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap – have dedicated an entire segment to Amitabh in the movie, so much so that there is a song in honour of his achievements.
‘Give It Up For Bachchan’ – the first song in Indian cinema dedicated to a Bollywood A-lister – sees little kids dressed up in different avatars of the versatile actor and dancing to the tune of ‘Baccha baccha gaaye from bachpan bachpan, Bachchan Bachchan...’
Not only is the tune of the song catchy, the dance steps – which are typical of Amitabh – are also infectious.
Here’s ‘Give It Up For Bachchan’ for you!
