Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta granted interim bail

Mumbai: Well-known filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has been granted bail on Saturday in the recent forgery case and counterfeit charges levelled against him. Sanjay’s lawyer Ameet Naik talking to the media, said, "He has been granted interim bail and the case will be heard on Monday.” Sanjay Gupta was earlier booked on charges of cheating and forgery by allegedly misusing the name of Mumbai Police Commissioner`s Office for the launch of his forthcoming film, `Shootout at Wadala`. On Saturday morning, film producer Sanjay Gupta filed an anticipatory bail application (ABA) before the session`s court which the court admitted.
