London: Actress Gwyneth Paltrow says she turns down lead movie roles to focus on motherhood.
The 40-year-old Oscar winner`s Hollywood career has taken a backseat since she became a mother to Apple, eight, and Moses, six, with the star taking on smaller roles in the `Iron Man` film series and TV show `Glee`, reported a leading daily.
Paltrow said she deliberately tackles just one supporting job a year, because she cannot juggle back-to-back filming with caring for her kids.
"I look for an interesting supporting part about once a year. That`s the most I can manage. Some women can do it and that`s fantastic, but I can`t. You make choices as a wife and mother, don`t you? You can`t have it all," she said.
