Los Angeles: ‘Ted’ star Mark Wahlberg says work has already begun on the film`s sequel and the comedy caper will be `sick`.
The 41-year-old actor said that director Seth MacFarlane has begun work on a sequel to this year`s hit R-rated comedy about a teddy bear that comes alive, although film studio Universal Pictures has yet to officially confirm the news, reported Collider.
"They are working on it now. The great thing about it is Seth`s ideas for the second one are sick," Wahlberg said.
The actor also praised MacFarlane for bringing fresh ideas to the proposed sequel because of his success in TV.
"He comes from a world of television so he knows how to tell stories, the way that most people don`t. He`s a different kind of guy," Wahlberg added.
‘Ted’, which also starred Mila Kunis and Giovanni Ribisi, proved to be a smash success earlier this year, grossing more than USD 500 million worldwide.
