Russell Brand wooing Katy Perry lookalike

London: Russell Brand tried to woo online video presenter Emily Hartridge, a lookalike of his former wife Katy Perry, as she quizzed him about his new film ‘Rock of Ages’. The comedian jokingly hurled cake at the 28-year-old host at London’s Dorchester Hotel and tried to kiss her.

And when she protested he licked the cake off her arm, then asked an aide to get her phone number. “Got to be a good day when @rustyrockets licks your elbow mid interview,” the Sun quoted Hartridge as posting on Twitter. Since then the pair have been texting each other. And a friend said that “Russell is definitely winning her over. “Emily joked they had a love-hate relationship because he hurled food at her. Only Russell could get away with covering someone in cake then licking it off,” the friend said. Hartridge hosts a 10 Reasons Why series on YouTube, with her last being “10 reasons why sport is better than sex.” The 37-year-old comedian will officially dissolve his 14-month marriage to ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer Perry next month.
