Is Anushka feeling insecure with emergence of Parineeti?

Mumbai: There is a buzz in Bollywood that the rise of Parineeti Chopra hasn’t gone down well with Anushka Sharma. The two Yash Raj Films protégés don’t seem to be sharing the best of vibes. It is believed that Anushska is a little peeved by the media glare that YRF’s new found girl has been grabbing off late, especially after the success of ‘Ishaqzaade’. Anushka and Parineeti shared screen space in ‘Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl’. While the film received a lukewarm response, the role of Parineeti was appreciated by the audience. So, is Anushka really insecure about the fact that Parineeti is becoming more popular than her? An insider source said, “It’s a phase every actor goes through from time to time and Anushka is mature enough to realise that. Of course, today it’s Parineeti who is hogging all the limelight but even Anushka has enjoyed that kind of success twice in her short career, first with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi followed by Band Baajaa Baaraat. And she also has some meaty projects to look forward to. So I don’t think she has any reason to worry.” Well, let’s hope sanity prevails between Anushka and Parineeti.
