Denzel Washington to star in `The Equalizer`?

Los Angeles: Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington is in talks to revamp British actor Edward Woodward`s cult TV crime fighting show `The Equalizer` on the big screen.

The 56-year-old is attached to Sony Pictures Entertainment`s adaptation of the series, which ran through the late 1980s, reported Aceshowbiz. Like Woodward, Washington will play a former secret agent who becomes an investigator of difficult and unsolved cases if he chooses to take the role. IANS
