Chitrangada clears air about her tweet against Poonam Pandey

Mumbai: Chitrangada Singh, who was recently dragged into a controversy involving internet sensation Poonam Pandey has finally spoken about the whole episode. The dusky beauty has claimed that the tweet against Poonam Pandey was from a fake account carrying her name. The actress does not hold an account with Twitter and feels that there is no need for her to follow the model’s life. The tweet that irked Poonam Pandey read, “How do you compete with Poonam Pandey, when she is ready strip for kabbadi matches?” and “India won Kabaddi world cup, time for Poonam show (sic).” As an answer to the comments made by “fake” Chitrangada, Poonam tweeted, “Jealousy: That’s what makes a b***h talk (sic).” Talking to a daily, Chitrangada said, “I have seen her pictures in newspapers and on TV channels. But she is not someone whose life I follow or react to. What angers me is that it’s all happening due to a fake Twitter account.” Surprisingly, Chitrangada’s fake Twitter account carries the tag of being “Official Account”. “I don’t understand why I am being pulled into this. I have no idea what Poonam really does (in life), so I’m shocked,” says Chitrangada, who has just signed a couple of endorsement deals. “This year is going to be very hectic,” the actress added. Now that the Chitrangada has cleared her stand, wonder what Poonam has to say?
