Vera Wang splits from husband Arthur Becker

London: Designer Vera Wang has split from her husband Arthur Becker after 23 years of marriage.

The 63-year-old, who is famed for her bridal gowns, has two daughters, Cecilia and Josephine with Becker. The couple has vowed to remain amicable for the sake of their children, reported Contactmusic. "Vera Wang and Arthur Becker have mutually and amicably agreed to separate. They remain devoted parents to their two daughters," read a statement released by her company`s president, Mario Grauso. Becker is believed to have been very supportive of Wang, who was working for Ralph Lauren women`s accessories and at-home wear when they married, and also helped her start her own fashion line. PTI
