Melbourne: Mark Lester, who is godfather to the late Michael Jackson`s three children, has claimed that Paris will walk away from her family and "never go back" when she turns 16.
Lester believes that the 15-year-old is preparing to make a clean break from her overbearing clan, News.com.au reported.
The 54-year-old actor told Grazia magazine that he is sure that when Paris hits 16, she will take herself out of that Jackson clan, walk out of that door and will never turn back.
"She will never go back. I`m glad she`s got Debbie Rowe in her life," he said.
According to reports, there has been tension between Michael`s kids and his siblings because of his disputed US500 million-dollar fortune, which was left to his mum Katherine and his kids.
Lester is also sceptical about the agenda behind Michael`s siblings` interest in the upbringing of his kids.
He said that it appears to be the case that each family member has a different agenda, with all the brothers and sisters taking an interest in their lives now.
Lester thinks that it`s inevitable that when the kids reach 16, or when Katherine dies, that they will say to the rest of the family: `Back off, it`s my life.`
The former child star also expressed sympathy for Katherine, who has been given the responsibility of raising the three children, saying that it must be very difficult for the 83-year-old to play the role of a mother when she was always granny.
