Los Angeles: Singer Adele, who has sung the theme number of ‘Skyfall’, will miss the London premiere of the latest Bond film Monday to be with her newborn son.
She will miss the thrill of hearing her theme tune blasted over the movie`s credits at the premiere, expected to be attended by Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, reports thesun.co.uk.
"Adele doesn`t want to leave her little boy`s side, it`s as simple as that. Right through her pregnancy, she`s been practically a shut-in as she wanted to look after herself and the baby. Now he`s here, she can`t bear heading out without him, even to hobnob with royalty," said a source.
But skipping the posh Bond night to be with family is typical of the Grammy award-winning singer, who has admitted in the past that she would would rather sit at home with a cup of coffee and biscuit than walk down the red carpet.
But her failure to attend the event is unlikely to hurt the chances of her "Skyfall" track breaking records.
If the buzz is anything to go by, the news of her baby will help in boosting the song`s popularity after the film`s release Friday.
