Los Angeles: Actress Kelly Brook says when she read the script of `Keith Lemon: The Film` and realised there were no scenes requiring her to strip, she insisted at least one such scene was added.
The 32-year-old star was surprised at the omission of any revealing scene as she believes she is most famous for appearing in her underwear, reports thesun.co.uk.
"I got the script - but there was no part where I was in underwear. There was nothing remotely like that," said Brook.
Now there is a scene in the film, in which she plays herself, where Brook walks down a corridor in only her lingerie.
The vision appears on screen when failed Yorkshire businessman Keith Lemon`s imagination goes wild. Lemon is the creation of comic actor Leigh Francis, who first captured the attention of audiences with his character Avid Merrion and the TV show "Bo` Selecta!".
"It was always Keith referencing sexy things. So I said to Leigh, `You have not got one scene where I am in my underwear, which is probably what I am most famous for in the UK.
"He goes, `Well, we didn`t want to ask you.` And I was like, `Listen, I think you should do it. When I walk down the corridor, you can put me in slow-motion, give me a wind machine and let me do my thing.`"
Director Paul Angunawela, who co-wrote the movie with Leigh, did not think they had time for Brook to slip off her dress, but her fans will be happy that she managed it.
"I was thinking, `Why am I trying to sell it to them?` Most actresses try to talk themselves out of these scenes - but that`s where I am generous. I felt the movie needed more girls.
"But it did help that I got to plug my Kelly Brook New Look lingerie. There was something in it for me," she added.
