Range of famous personalities to contest in `Jhalak`

Famous personalities will be showing their dancing skills in reality show `Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa`.

Mumbai: Famous personalities including television actors Drashti Dhami, Siddharth Shukla and singer Shaan are among the contestants who will be showing their dancing skills in reality show `Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa`.

The sixth season of the popular dance show will have a dozen celebrity participants, a group of people from different backgrounds. These include actors, dancers, singers, a comedian and child artistes. Other prominent contestants are model-actor Aarti Chhabria, international dancer and `ABCD` famed Lauren Gottlieb, TV actors Shweta Tiwari, Karanvir Bohra, Ekta Kaul, Meghna Malik, Eijaz Khan, comedian Suresh Menon and India`s Got Talent winners Sonali and Sumanth. Filmmaker Karan Johar, actress Madhuri Dixit and Remo D`Souza, choreographer, dancer and director, will judge the programme which will air from June 1 on Colors channel. The trio had judged the previous edition too. The first episode will have Ranbir Kapoor and Madhuri dancing on item song `Ghagra` from the film `Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani`. The Deols -- Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby -- will also be promoting their film `Yamla Pagla Deewana 2` on the show. Actors Sushant Singh Rajput of `Kai Po Che` fame and Jacqueline Fernandez will introduce the contestants and perform at the event. The programme will see the participants showing different dance forms with their choreographers. PTI
