Mumbai: Salman Khan has transformed into a phenomenon of sorts since the last four years. He can be seen almost everywhere- on silver screen, on small screen and he is even involved into a number of other social activities.
The magnanimous star runs a social organization named ‘Being Human’ and is hugely popular for his philanthropic involvements. The actor has been approached by the Lucknow Zoo with a request to adopt their tigers.
Renu Singh, Director, Lucknow Zoo has apparently written a letter to Salman asking him to adopt the royal animal in order to create awareness about their sinking population.
Singh while talking to a leading daily said, “Considering that his film Ek Tha Tiger was such a big hit and so popular with his fans, if Salman comes forward to adopt the tigers, it may garner a great response. I wrote to him two days back requesting him to consider our offer. We have yet to receive a reply. We had approached Dia Mirza too regarding animal adoption and she had adopted leopard cubs in 2010.”
So will ‘Tiger’ Salman Khan adopt the Lucknowi tigers?
We will have to wait and watch.
