Chennai: Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi, who was on a success spree in 2012 with films such as ‘Pizza’ and ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’, says movie offers are pouring in but he`s in no hurry to sign films.
"It is not that I don`t want to sign films, but I don`t want to accept any film coming my way. I have been hearing a lot of scripts and the fact is that even if I want to do these films, I seldom find time as I already have three projects in my kitty," Vijay told reporters.
He is currently busy filming Tamil romantic-drama ‘Rummy’ and ‘Soodhu Kavvum’; the third Tamil film ‘Pannaiyarum Padminiyum’ is in pre-production phase.
All three films are directed by newcomers, but he is not worried.
"I don`t choose my directors, but I choose my scripts wisely. I don`t want do films for the fun of it. If my last two films were successful, it is because they were different and I will strive to do such films going forward," he added.
Meanwhile, Vijay`s "Pizza" is being remade in Hindi. Filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar recently bought the remake rights of the film, which is likely to go on floors soon.
