Bhansali runs out of options; re-hires Kareena for ‘Ram Leela’?

New Delhi: Yes, you heard it right, finally, it is happening! Sanjay Leela Bhansali who earlier had a fall out with Kareena Kapoor which forced the actress to walk out of the project abruptly, is now back to play her part in the film opposite Ranveer Singh. Last month, the entire drama surrounding SLB and his film created a lot of confusion and buzz in media circles. Talking to a daily, a source revealed that SLB wrote ‘Ram Leela’ keeping Kareena in mind. But when he realized that was contemplating marriage to her beau Saif Ali Khan, he wasted no time in dropping her off his ambitious project claiming that he would not prefer working with an actress who would be married by the time the film goes on floors. Post the controversy, he began searching for his ‘Leela’ and his next best bet was Priyanka Chopra. But even PC could not fit well into the role when she was auditioned. SLB even went on to audition Deepika Padukone but even that effort of his failed. Reportedly, a disheartened Sanjay had no other go but to approach Kareena again and apologise to her so that she agrees to do the film. Bebo couldn’t say no and thus obliged him. Ranveer Singh must be the happiest of all, for he will get to rub shoulders with his dream co-star if all goes well! Good luck boy!
