Mumbai: Action-thriller `Dhoom 3`, which will see actor Aamir Khan playing a negative role for the first time, will begin shooting from this May without any delay.
Aamir will join the shoot in June as per plan, YashRaj Films said in a statement dismissing reports that the film`s shoot has been delayed because of Aamir`s prior commitments.
The 47-year-old actor, who is busy with his first TV outing, has postponed the release of his ambitious project "Talaash" to the year end. Earlier, the film was to release in June.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, "Dhoom 3" is written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who had also written the first two films "Dhoom" and "Dhoom 2" in the hit franchise.
Apart from Aamir Khan, who plays the anti-hero in the film, and Katrina Kaif, both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise the roles of Jai Dixit and Ali.
The film is slated for a 2013 release.
